Welcome to the GTUK Coventry Taekwon-Do website
We are full members of the GTUK Global Taekwon-Do United Kingdom founded by Master Roy Oldham VIII degree. We specialise in international Taekwon-Do style (ITF). The name Taekwon-Do was given on April 11th 1955 and founded by General Choi Hong Hi. ITF Taekwon-do is now headed by the founder’s son Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa IX degree. Taekwon-Do was first introduced to the United Kingdom by Master Oldham’s instructor Grand Master Ki Ha Rhee.
Coventry TKD has clubs located in the centre of Coventry, Balsall Common and Nuneaton. Mr Cowley 3rd degree black belt is the senior instructor to the GTUK in Coventry and Nuneaton, he is a multiple gold medallist in this field and is now concentrating on developing new talent in the area.
